Sister Jean; ever heard of her? She’s become a national sensation ever since Loyola upset the Miami Hurricanes (ranked #22 nationally at the time) in the first-round of the NCAA Tournament. Since then her name’s synonymous with the Loyola Ramblers. To be honest she’s the closest I can get to naming a player on their roster.
That said, are you a fan of the underdog? Because that’s the role Loyola’s played all tournament and will continue Saturday night when the head into San Antonio to take on the Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines last loss came in the first week of February; since then they’ve been red hot. Nobody could have predicted the run the Ramblers have made in this year’s tournament, so would it really be a surprise if they upset Michigan to reach the Championship game on Monday?

As of now it’s just Bar63, located at 6341 North Broadway. Since it’s the only “official” Loyola bar we’re aware of, if you’re interested in heading over there we suggest getting there at least an hour before tip-off.
