Many people (anyone outside of Columbus) left Ohio State off of their playoff board regardless of their résumé on account of off-field activities involving Urban Meyer, but after last week’s blasting by the Purdue Boilermakers they have a football-related reason to forbidding them from the final four. Speaking of the B1G Ten Conference, Harbaugh haters have gone into hibernation, especially after the Wolverines dominating win against Michigan State Spartans.
Pivoting from the B1G Ten, teams like the Alabama Crimson Tide, Louisiana State Tigers, Clemson Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners proved they deserved their top-10 rankings, dominating their respective opponents. Washington State in particular looked very impressive, pulling off an upset Pac-12 Conference win against the Oregon Ducks 34-20. We’ll see if they’re for real this week when they take on Cardinal Tree of Stanford University.
Not too many many match-ups to get excited for this week. The most popular games in the area will be Saturday morning’s B1G Ten action.
