Playoff implications are abound this week in the NCAA as week 13 just about wraps up regular season action until we get to conference championship games. Interestingly enough there’s been a full-slate of games this Thanksgiving Day-week, and that continues to the weekend with two great games slated for Friday night, and an action-packed Saturday starting with a battle between two of the (or, the two) best teams in the B1G 10 Conference and ending with a delicious WAC-snack between Utah State and Boise State.
Other interesting games to note will be LSU and Texas A&M; this is a game LSU cannot lose, which will be tough to do on the road in College Station. Maryland comes off an insane game last week against Ohio State to try and upset another favorite, this time the Nittany Lions of Penn State. Illinois and Northwestern probably won’t be that great of a game, but locally this will be on in many bars across the city.
