We’ve got a couple rivalry games based on location — Chicago (3-6) hosting Detroit (5-4), Tampa Bay (3-6) heading to Miami (4-4*) — as well as an actual, real rivalry between the red-hot Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) and the struggling Dallas Cowboys (5-4). This is a game more important for the Cowboys, as they’d fall 4 games back in the division with a loss.
The best game of the weekend will happen at noon on Saturday, when two of the top teams in the NFL take battle in Minnesota when the Vikings (7-2) host the Rams of Los Angeles (7-2). Now if I told you at the start of the season that this would be the best game on paper leading up to Week 11 in the 2017 NFL season, you’d think I was insane.
But alas, when you get rid of Jeff Fischer and instill some confidence in Case Kennum, I suppose anything can happen within a 10-game span. I think Minnesota’s on the list of cities that are a “tough place to play,” so this is certain to be a challenge for 2nd-year quarterback Jared Goff.
